About That's Sew Maine

Hey, I'm Amy! I am the sewist behind the handmade goods of That's Sew Maine. After feeling very stuck towards the end of 2025, I started to turn to sewing as a way to invest in myself, and it feels like it's changing my life. Sewing brings me the opportunity to create, experiment with color, and put positivity out into the world. I love incorporating vintage finds (quilts and mid-century modern linens are my absolute favorite) and bold modern fabrics into my handmade items. I also love drawing inspiration from my surroundings, the Maine Coast, into my designs.

One thing I value is to create products that feel inclusive. If you are browsing my products and think to yourself 'I wish that came in a different size' or identify another reason why a product will not work for you, please contact me and give me the opportunity to work with you to create something that will work for your needs and lifestyle. 

That's Sew Maine is located in Freeport, Maine, where I live with Andrew (my loveable husband), Maple (my sweet English Sheepdog), and Forest (my silly cat). We miss our late dog Noodle (from the picture shown) very much!
